Truly Living Well

Since its beginning in 2006, Truly Living Well Center for Natural Urban Agriculture (TLW) has used its expertise to demonstrate how food can be a bridge across diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.

From Gardening 101 programming to Urban Farmer Boot Camp, TLW has something for everyone when it comes to learning how to build and care for your soil and plants no matter where you’re growing. Find out more about their programs now!

UGA Master Gardener

The Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer (MGEV) Program connects UGA Extension, plant enthusiasts, and communities across the state. Master Gardeners teach community members how to use plants and gardening to improve their environment, personal health, and quality of life.

Master Gardener Extension Volunteers (MGEVs) are trained volunteers with unique skills and abilities, who share a love of plants and gardens and enthusiasm for learning. They are a variety of ages, personalities, and professions united by a passion for teaching others.

MABA

Metro Atlanta Beekeepers’ Association is an all volunteer nonprofit organization that supports an active beekeeping community and promotes the art and science of bees and beekeeping to the public through education, events and services.

With monthly meetings and ongoing educational opportunities, MABA is the perfect place to learn about beekeeping and become connected to the beekeeping community in Atlanta.

An independent plant nursery located in historic Grant Park, Garden*Hood not only has the plants and materials you need to get your garden growing - they also offer periodic workshops in everything from basic gardening to chicken keeping (through a partnership with City Chick) and more!

Garden*Hood is a plant nursery where horticultural expertise, exceptional plants, and friendly, knowledgeable staff come together in a unique environment that fosters community, inspires creativity, and nurtures the gardener in all of us.
